The box and all it beautiful, snacky glory.
Skinnygirl, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Nutrition Bar:
I generally hate the texture and the grittiness and overall flavor of protein bars. But this is about the best I've had in a protein bar. I'm not saying it taste like cookie dough straight from the fridge but but it is reasonably enjoyable considering what it is. Is tasty, yet weird, but I like it a proper description of this? I think so.
I also noticed that given the more enjoyable texture it was kind of addictive to eat which could be a bad thing . As I can picture myself sitting down and eating two or three without even noticing.
Sahale Snacks, Classic Fruit & Nuts Blend:
Whhhhhhyyyy do you tastes so good??
As someone whose obsessively prone to snacking, I can appreciate just the right mixture of flavors. Let me tell you, this mix was just right. It was just the perfect mixture of sweet & salty pared with deeper flavors than your standard snack mix. I know this because I sometimes even order snack subscription boxes (Graze ect) simply because most drugstore snack mixes just don't seem to cut it in the savor-able flavor department. I ate this so quickly I didn't realize I finished it.
*Other notes: I went to my local Walgreen to look for more of this tasty snack mix and didn't find it. :(
Instant correction of the appearance of skin aging including the look of fine lines, wrinkles, crow's feet and enlarged pores.
So time to try getting "Nanoblurred". :P
How to USE:
Without makeup: Apply over moisturized skin.
Without makeup: Apply over moisturized skin.
With makeup: Pat gently over liquid foundation or under pressed / loose powder.
This was frankly the most weird product to me in the box. But I do like the weird name. My first impression trying this on was that it felt nothing like and primer nor a moisturizer. I gently applied it to my face in soft circular motions to find that as I did, the texture of my skin felt more grippy. It was a somewhat unusual sensation, but I didn't mind it. I first read the back before applying it and was surprised to find that can be applied both over moisturizer or foundation.
I only used this primer in the traditional way under my foundation. I'm oily skinned so maybe this just didn't work great for me. I tried it out a couple of days and it just got to feeling too heavy too quickly. My skin did look nice for about half the day though.
It does initially smooth the texture of my skin pretty nicely when I first apply it but unfortunately I couldn't be bothered to try it out anymore than 3 days because it felt like too much on my skin in combination with my liquid foundation.
Urgent Rx- Relief To-Go Powder:
This nifty concoction claims to offer "right-now" relief! This far I've been waiting for a chance to test it out.
Here's how it works:
1.RIP open the credit card-sized packet.
2.POUR the fast-dissolving, flavored powder into your mouth.
3.RELIEF when and where you need it.
Have yet to try.* Will update when I do!
Neutrogena Hand Cream
This hand cream is such an usual texture, but it really works. It's more of a potent gel consistency, which was totally unexpected on my part and surprising to try. Because of it's potent consistency, you hardly need any product, just a small dab to cover yours hands. I also feel like once I've used this, I have no need to apply moisturizer to my hands again for at least a full 24 hours. It's THAT effective.
Outlast Longwear Lipstick & Covergirl Stay Luminous in "805 Ivory" (Oil free!):
The Lipstick:
First the lipstick! I wanted to love this lipstick. I really did. It's a beautiful berry shade which I'm partial too because it's flattering to my fair skin. However, this particular lipstick shade has some for of pearl in it which made the texture gritty between my lips. Unfortunately, the texture was go uncomfortable and distracting I wasn't interested in trying the lipstick much further. Though I will note thought that once I wiped it off it didn't leave more than a faint stain behind so take that how you will.
The Foundation:
Ever since my favorite soft focus, "like skin" foundation was recently reformulated and lost to me forever (AKA Revlon Colorstay when they started making their "Ivory" 4 shades darker. D:) I've been looking for a foundation that had a "like my skin but better" feel to it. I was hoping Covergirl Stay Luminous would be it's replacement.
CLAIMS:
"Outlast Stay Luminous Foundation’s oil-free, non-greasy formula gives your skin a natural luminosity that lasts all day! Perfect for achieving radiant skin, this all day foundation hydrates skin while providing flawless coverage."
Here are my thoughts after wearing it a few days:
-Medium coverage. Has a sheer lightweight quality to it.
-Smoothed onto the skin really nicely & blends out well.
-Definitely not pale enough for me without mixing with my Manic Panic White Foundation. This was a bit hard for me to get over because I wasn't seeing the radiance that this product claims, as it was hard to look past the slightly mismatched shade on my face. So a larger shade range would be appreciated.
*Note: I will update this more as I finish trying all of the products.
